As the partner or spouse of a British citizen (or a person that is permanently settled in the United Kingdom), you should be able to apply for and receive a UK spouses visa that will allow you to not only enter into the United Kingdom but also live and work here on a permanent basis as well.
To successfully receive the UK spouse visa, you’ll need to meet a number of very specific criteria, some of which include:
That you and your spouse are both 18 years of age or older at the time of your visa application
That your spouse is in fact a British citizen or has settled in the United Kingdom on a permanent basis
That your partner is not related to you in any way that would nullify your marriage in United Kingdom law
The relationship you share with your spouse is genuine, substantial, and that you are already married
If you are not married, but that you are in a civil partnership and have been living with one another in a relationship similar to a marriage for at least two years before you applied for the UK spouse visa
And that you meet all suitability requirements, financial requirements, and English language requirements
